hahahhahahha. Through the week our work schedule is AT LEAST until 6, which puts me home close to 8. But we've always got something to do after work so I never really get home until around 9. Weekends is more errand running, BUT since we are moving in in December, I will be 1 hour closer to work, and she will be a half hour closer, and we will already be together, so it will shave off a shit-ton of time to and fro each morning so that I can build pedals and shit and actually feel like I have some time before bed haha

She's understanding for the most part about me having shit to do with pedals and all. I'm thankful for that. She's actually really excited about our jam this weekend since she knows I haven't been able to get out much

Yeah... I've had a Radioshack iron for a month and it's already clear that the relationship won't work out. I know I just started building but I'm okay with buying an expensive iron cuz I know I'll be doing this for like.. ever.. or until the arthritis immobilizes my hands.

Yeah dude, it'll definitley save a LOT of time for both of us- and it'll only take about 15-20 minutes to get to work now which will be nice, and I'll be closer to the city for when I get a design job.

And yeah dude, she lurves me :) I'm really excited for everything to come!

I'd like to pick up a legit one cause I always end up dropping the Radioshack ones on the floor and burning shit. Which isn't good haha

I would but I need to buy a new set of tubes for my ac30 first. Amp toanz > pedal toanz.

I actually have the money for the VTM and everything else I need to buy but I hate being broke

lol Skullservant every time I drop my iron I FREAK OUT. Especially when I drop it on my bare foot or the pair of jeans I bought earlier that day

Yeah, I totally burnt a huge hole in the BRAND NEW carpet my mom and stepdad had JUST gotten a few months ago. It was AWESOME. Gateway to my first DIY carpet patching!!

I burnt a carpet about 10 years ago, a nylon carpet so the pile became a steaming pile of melted plastic. Roughed up the plastic with an xacto knife and painted it to with hobby paint to match the rest of the carpet. In my memory it worked sweet and looked great, but logically it must have looked like crap.

Yeah, the piece of carpet that I burned sat for a good minute or so before I realized it. So in one part it was burnt through the carpet and the padding to the wood, and then a spot next of it was melted flat. So I scored it up, cut a piece out of the corner of the inside of the closet in the room, and then stuck the carpet piece into the burnt hole and then wiggled it around. Looks pretty good and you can hardly notice!
