A bunch of pedalmakers make stompbox versions that sound almost identical. One is, Analogman's Juicer, which is a great clone of the Orange Squeezer.

I just bought a BOYC Armstrong Twin, which is an Orange Squeezer and a Green Ringer in one.

ANYONE tried ANY Dan Armstrong effects before? I thought Devi had the Black Reaper Mid EQ....

I thought Pumpkin Pieces had one.. the blue one, maybe? Am I making that up?

By the way, let us know how that BYOC works out - I'm very intrigued by the green ringer...

Will do, if I can make it correctly ;)
I want to see how the Ringer reacts if you play a chord....
PP probably had the Blue one, It's a fuzz that plugs into your guitar. :thumb:
I've been looking at the Purple one, because I need my Jagmaster to have some more treble.

Yeah I have the blue clipper. A simple fuzz unit. you can reverse the wiring so you can plug it into your amp instead of the guitar.

Anyway, I have tried pretty much all of the Dan Armstrong effects. Quite honestly, I like a few of them, but I ripped them out of that stupid enclosure.

Soundwise, I only liked the Green Ringer, the Blue Clipper, and the Purple Peaker. The Orange Squeezer isn't even worth it; I have my DIY Ross for those very rare occasions when I actually use compression (stopped using it entirely about 3 years ago).

Have you played the Black one? I think Devi was using one at some point.

Hmm...
That may be of some use to me anyway, Graham Coxon (Even though he's not metal) has his EQ set up Treble- 10 Middle- 0 Bass- 10. :erm:

Does the Purple one boost your Treble a LOT? Even with my amp's treble on 10, my Jagmaster still doesn't have enough treble... Funny thing is, unplugged, it is extremely trebley. :erm: And my amp is super Trebley... and I have the Tone on the guitar at 10....

Humbuckers ?

si.
I'm thinking of changing out the neck humbucker for a single coil, but the problem is finding a humbucker sized single coil... P-90 maybe? Jazzmaster pup? or I could just put a single coil and a dummy pickup in their together. :idk:
