Basic Audio Futureman into my Monarch is insanely awesome. Depending on where you have the gain set on both pedals you can get anything from gritty od to full on fuzz... and it cleans up great with your volume knob

Me too,then when I want to go into ass kick mode I stomp on the Hoof Fuzz that immediately follows it.

Just had my first practice w the Monarch last night. Damn, what a great pedal. Just a really cool, growly sound with great EQ options. Put it at the end of my gain chain on a pretty low gain setting and pretty much everything sounded great into it. Super Puzzle, Musket, White Light, all awesome. The FuzzStang wasn't psyched, but that li'l guy seems to prefer to be on his own.
