Cackly Supa-chan

Post by chutneyfarmer »

Heya folks,

I was one of the lucky ones who actually received their Supa-Chan. Unfortunately it's developed a slight cackly sound when I hit my strings slightly hard. I tried swapping guitar, power supply, and amp and it seems to be the pedal.

Any idea where I should start looking to get it fixed? It's probably a transitor problem I guess.

Anyone else had this issue?

Thanks

Does the circuit include a JFET? They are really sensitive to static, and rather than stop working they get noisy.

I love the smell of solder in the morning.

Have no idea off the top of my head. Will open it up and take a look. Thanks!
