I definitely prefer the shimmer of the Verbzilla and even the modulation of the Super Moon to the Shimverb. It just sounds off. But combining the hall setting or the tank setting of the Shimverb with the Holy Grail set pretty wet is pretty cool. Super saturated, and the Holy Grail gets like a swelling sort of lag to it which is nice good for actually doing volume swells haha

That's what I was using also, is there some Exp calibration mode other than the heel down set a knob, toe down set a knob? I was getting all the sweep in the bottom (heel down) of the pedal, the parameters were maxing out with 2/3 of the travel left. I know the EP-2 is a 50k ohm pot and the manual suggests a max value of 25k ohm so I assumed this was part of the problem, and I didn't want to run out and buy a VP jr. just to accessorize the Modfactor, since even without the Exp issues I think I'm better off with single pedals for modulation, for now.

Edit: oh yeah, and I wish it had a gain knob or independently assignable boost per effect in the backpages, unity gain across the boards isn't ideal for me, especially with filters and tremolo. On the plus side all the effects sounded very good, but setting up Envelope, ASDR, and Exp all gave me fits, the waveforms were much easier to set up and sounded great.

I have an eterna coming in (I think, not sure when they are shipping)
not sure I like shimmer yet but I will give it a try,

I think I may like the octave up delay on the time bender more
or running an actual pitch pedal into an RV5

how does the shimverb stack with the grail?

Dude you are the king of pitch shifting how could you possibly not like shimmer? I think you'll probly dig the Eterna a lot. Not that I've tried one of course

Damn, I am wanting a Minitaur.

I would have to sell my Venom, and something else...

Might wait a bit.

The Rev 2 looks handy on the Minitaur.

I haven't looked into it super hard but I'm regretting letting go of it a bit. Especially since I've seen it used as a proto-Taurus now. Ugh
