did you consider the frank merino modded one,or try it out?
i was so close to gettin that

I love my Octron, it has knocked my Second Voice off my board and it is the best analog octave pedal I have tried. The option to blend octave up and octave down is the best feature on this and puts it ahead of the others. As for the modded version or the Octron 2, I wasn't in the market for one because I didn't need the extra features or want to spend that much coin. That being said, you will really benefit by putting a compressor in front of it. I mainly play bass and the Octron plus a fuzz and phaser gets an awesome old school bass synth sound.
Good B/S/T dealings with: univalve, DannDubbleEwe, Shish, ThePastRecedes, GiAnt_ROboT, chutneyfarmer, Muse FTW, robapov, skullservant, MaxMaps, psychedelicrelic, guitarslinger21, space6oy, theshoegazer, bongoben, osbornkt

i use a philosophers tone in front of the ps-6
its addictive
you know what finally steered me away was the internal trimpots
it seemed to use it to its full potentaial it needed some tweaking
thought i was gonna fuck it up or just plain use it wrong
thats one of those"maybe i shoulda gone with"situations
eh once i get bored with the ps-6

Yeahhh...that syrupy sweet smell that hits you once you make it to Vermont is the cow shit. There's fields and trucks and ponds of it. Though the hippies kind of smell like that too...

You know you're in Canada when you can only get french fries with cheesy gravy.
