I'm really more odor a Tele person, but my keyboard player brought his Strat in to the studio the other day and I'm pretty in love with it. It's just a black Mexican Strat but it sounds and feels really sweet. Makes me want to play Built To Spill riffs all day.
I'm more of a Tele guy too.
Going to chuck a big headstock 70s type maple cap neck on it.
Pickups ... not sure. Toying with the idea of putting a pair of gold foils on it ... but I might go all traditional and drop Don mare an email :idk:
I hate trems, so this is the first Strat I've fancied in a long time.
Good deals done with all these guys

Who knew that Giffin (or I should say his minions at the Premier Guitar Builders) was making guitars with 2 P90s for under 1k? I totally want one.

And timelessness. You see all these amp builders (Emperor, Verellen) working now with natural and stained woods, just goes to sure the pure timelessness I tell you!

speaking of white i dig how KOMA took the case idea of Moog and did their own thing with it.

I like these. Excellent idea imho. The white wood parts at the white Moogs disturb me somehow...

Yeah Koma's look awesome and natural. I think Moogs look forced because it's part of their brand identity. They've been doing it so long with black/natural stained wood that anything else looks off. Just like the Voyagers now that you can get in custom colors. I feel like they all look off if they aren't the traditional Moog colors, no matter how cool the color combo and LED backlighting

I dig them all. I've had the standard style Moog ones in the past, I thought I would try the Yeti dick style for a change! looks nice next to my Frost Bite. I should maybe start a winter theme... I did not have the Tracer City when I had a FreqBox and now I have a Tracer City and no FreqBox! So I ordered one to test the combo.
