Most excellent...I'm glad it worked out this way, man.

Soooo I looked over at the stereo and removed the equalizer that never gets used, pulled the RCA jacks, spliced a couple wires and added 1/4 jacks...
BAM, INSTANT LEFT CHANNEL EQ FOR THE EQ-LESS VALVE JUNIOR AND RIGHT CHANNEL FOR THE BASS AMP NOW CAN YA DIG IT

Look at that swanky rack setup. I actually find myself more confident in this stuff not failing than a couple of the pedlols on my board.
There's something I find really appealing about running instruments through old and/or crappy stereo equipment. And now that it's plentiful and fairly cheap, this pile of budget mediocrity will only grow

I really like your style, achtane. That is "thinking out of the Box" for me.
Probably you can get your hands on an old Tape machine - i mean the Big ones. I had a revox a77 on loan about 17 years ago and it sounded great with Guitar.

Thanks man, I appreciate it! I am a fan of DIY...but most of mine is more "redneck arts & crafts" than "amateur but fine handiwork". I would love to get a real deal tape setup, but man that stuff can get expensive quick...
Next I'm gonna attempt a cassette tape delay, reel-to-reel style. Gotta cannibalize a couple of really cheap players first.

How does the STEP sound? I loved the demo of that.

Checkout the link below the picture. Three short samples. First is only octave up. Second and third is with additional dirt.
It is grainy, sputtery, the overdrive/distortion (second switch) is awesome with the right knob very low. Fuzz is post punk like (hate that description but it fits). A lot of sounds in a small package. I can send it over to you to test in about a month.
And i owe you a mail and sound files. Hopefully tomorrow.
