Lace Pickups

I've been recommended these a lot recently. Anyone have em?

Well I have an SG and a Les Paul Standard. Kent from Wo Fat suggested them to me. The Drop n Gains and the Nitrohemis.

I've heard good things about the Drop N Gains in an SG on a different forum. But, they don't really have the ability to be clean at all from what I understood. So as long as you're looking for a mostly overdriven sound, I'd say why not. I'm sure they'd be heavy sounding

Sweet! They seem reasonably priced as well, and I'm sure you could always flip it on here if you didn't like it

i have the red silver blue set in my strat. i used to love them, they sound awesome with any amount of gain, but the clean tones are very sterile.

I'm not much of a clean tone guy, plus I would still keep my LP stock, and only change it in my SG. If I wanted clean I would go with the LP. My SG is a monster and could use more gritty high output.

If Clapton did use them, then that's another awesome reason to get them.
