I've tried a few delays but I can't ever make them sound like other people do.
Probably a mix of lack of patience and lack of skill.

Ahhh gotcha, they aren't always the easiest to dial in, but once you do.....

Anybody know how you set the internal trimpot for use with active basses? I've noticed a huge difference between how my passive jag bass and active p-bass sound through my megalith, I still gotta open it up and see if it has a trimpot though.....

If it has a trimpot, I'm pretty sure you can just set it by ear to what ever sound you like.
If you switch basses back and forth a lot you could replace the trimpot with a regular pot and control it from the outside.

Re: Mountainking Electronics
The only reason I ask is that, for me, as well as I'd wager most of the general slow-and-low afficionados, Mountainking popped up on the radar as they were listed in the gear section of the equipment notes for Wino, Al, and Scott Kelly.
Hence the perpetual doom-boner for the Megalith.
