Strat-style tremolos. I'm sick of all these springs in my guitar. Give me a Jazz/Jag trem or a Bigsby on something other than a Jazz/Jag or Gretsch.

i know some dudes mod teles and junk, but that should be standard. imagine somethin like a Les Paul with a jag/jazz trem.

This, I've been wanting an SG with a jag/jazz trem for a while now. Need to improve my diy skills first though

I still disagree with this, haha. I don't see the big deal. Not everyone wants to gaze... I mean it does look a little odd sometimes, I'll admit that but some people don't want to deal with trems but like to deal with jag shapes. I think everyone's worried that someone will say Jaguar or Jazzmaster referring to their hard tail and they think that'll change what jaguar/jazzmaster means. I'm sure there's enough offset enthusiasts to keep the name true to what the original jazz/jags were like. Just let everyone else have some fun too.

I agree with most everything else here. I have an odd distaste for sunburst finishes too, only exception is on Jaguars for some reason... or the very subtle kind on my Thunderbird.

A trend/habit I'd like to stop myself is my fetish over the fender/gibson headstocks on fender/gibson style guitars. If it isn't fender or gibson and it's say a T-style or a LP style guitar... I don't want it. On the other hand I'm cool with Eastwoods taking older guitars and what not. It's odd. I am just unattracted to fender/gibson style guitars that don't have a fender/gibson headstock.

-Relic Finishes
-High output pickups
-Brand snobbery
-$6000 custom shop shit
-Everything coming in sunburst.
-Nasty, printed tort. Even if they just replace it with w/b/w or something.
-Strat Trems being "standard". More Bigsbys and Jag/Jazz trems please.
-Strat Jacks. Seriously. Fuck them.
-Generic looking amps. They make tons of tolex colors. Start using some.

For real. I understand wanting hot pickups, but there's a point where it gets ridiculous. Seems like there's an inordinate amount of pickups in that ridiculous category nowadays.

I thought that was implied...:erm:

honestly never got the appeal of any quote-unquote "djent" band (yes doulbe quotes) besides Tosin Abasi. the whole scene is just like "oh, so the typical death metal of the past decade or so but with nu-metal rhythms you dont want to call nu-metal because you're ripping off Meshuggah"
