EHX Octave Multiplexer question

Post by Blurillaz »

I got one of these cool pedals for my birthday a couple months ago, and I love it, but can someone tell me what the high filter and low filter knobs do? I've read the manual but for some reason I can't understand what they said in there, and the knobs don't seem to do a whole lot. :idk: are they the tone of the octave down?

That's what they did on mine.

They're fun for synthy sounds if you have it 100% wet. :thumb:

i don't think the Filter Knob does much on any EHX pedal, although in theory it should be a really good High-Pass/Low-Pass Filter right? to weed out certain signals/frequencies? :?:

i did want an Octave Multiplexer but i got a Dano Chili Dog instead. i may ditch my Dano pedals so i will probably have to get one in the end...

YEah.
it has a switch that turns off the low filter, and makes the sub octave a bit fuzzy, like the double muff pedal.
