YAH. Like those MXR ones that have a little button that is an uneditable preset. Or every other couple wahs in existence.

the wah thing is the worst because a wah with a Q control is way more useful and can get you the exact same sounds

i love seeing pedals on a board that you know guys don't use but you know they are getting paid to keep on a board (satriani)

"Look at how it cleans up when I turn down the guitar's volume!"
Her: "Why do you need to build 'some more' amps?"
Me: "Because that will make me happy. That's important for you, right? For me to be happy?"

Kinda related to that, dudes testing clean boosts, pushing the crap out of the front end of a tube amp then saying "it really dirties up nicely". NO, no it doesn't. It's the god damn amp we are hearing.

This should be good, good enough for a signature pedal.

I really want to purchase a ring mod after new year, and I'm not sure I have the real estate for Randy... colour me intrigued for the Bassus signature model!

Adam, sorry if I was overly harsh in saying that I can't dig your demos - love your pedulz though! I pretty much like Kayzer's demos, and that's it haha. And Jet City music.

Center negative power supplies. Seriously. Fuck. That.

But good luck selling anything with a center positive jack. >.>

signature pedals as they've been executed do totally suck and there really isn't any signature pedal that stands out as a worthwhile investment. well, except the paul gilbert flanger

having said that; in theory they COULD be cool if you go like the Tone Tattoo route where its like an amalgum of all the pedals they use the most, so its sorta like an artist-in-the-box sorta thing but still has flexibility.

like for example, the "gearmond signature pedal" would be like... a sea machine and a tone reaper(or Algal Bloom i guess. maybe a superfuzz-y thing, but im tryna make it under one roof) with two toggle switches, or a toggle and a footswitch. one toggle to switch the order of the circuit, and the other toggle/switch to go from chorus to straight vibrato. and bam, a unique "signature" pedal to get the sound i like, as well as the ability to explore combinations. and instead of just being a pedal with my name slapped on it (tbf the satch and vai signatures are sorta original form the ground up unlike some certain bronze pedals) its a pedal i use, altered with some additional stuff that zeros in on stuff i like and allows for a wide range of exploration as well.

which should be what signature things do. its a shitty thing to just give a fancy paint job to a stock guitar, and maybe swap out some wood, and BAM new signature model (lookin at you, ESP, Fender, and Gibson) and i think a signature instrument kinda requires a musician that doesn't essentially use stock stuff you can pick up at a store or have the same needs filled just as well.
,':{I> ... your move, Trebek.

my music for you to put in your earholes :joy:
