I want more analog through-zero flangers out there. The fact that there's really only two in the world really annoys me. The fact that Moog made a flanger without making it through-zero REALLY disappointed me, they usually don't go halfway on their pedals.

I'm not an analog-snob either, I love digital effects. But I've tried most of the digital flangers and they just can't do the through-zero thing right. Although I still haven't tried the Strymon yet. I just haven't see a used one for sale for a decent price.

Used Mod Zeros aren't too uncommon, and Jack Deville/Mr. Black makes the Tunnelworm Flanger if you want something new? :idk:

So I just did some more searching around about the Tunnelworm, and I actually think it's digital, not analog. Jack answered a question on HC about it and said that

"TunnelWorm's algorithm includes dynamic regeneration to ensure the signal fully cancels at the zero point"

Any time anyone's talking about algorithms, means it's probably a digital effect. Not that that means it's bad, at all.

Pretty much anything on the TB FX that everyone raves about.
It's eather a muff or they all make your Tobias and SS amp sound like a Precision through an Ampeg (well sort of).

And there's clearly not enough radical bad ass Ring Modulators in the market. Everybody and his neighbor has in production two ODs, fuzz and both classic AND metal distortion... and with some luck, the same ring mod as everybody else.

the only true RMs i like in the current market are the Moog and the Randy's. the rest seem to all be based on the same two less-than-optimal circuits.

What's the Copilot like? They've got both the "lo fi" antenna and the more hifi (?) planetoid. I can never tell if I like their pedals because I can't stand the demos.

All pedals need to go away. Tone is in the knuckle bones. Pedals are for pussies.
