I just picked up surfer rosa last week, can't believe I've been missing out on the Pixies. Doolittle is still my favorite though.

How do you like it?Everyone I play Surfer Rosa for hates it.I don't understand why,to me its perfect in every sense,definitely one of my favorite albums of all time.It's a shame that Kim Deal and Frank can't get along.On the pixies dvd I bought you can definitely see and feel the tension between them even though its been years since they have done anything together.

I like it, its not even slightly disappointing, just what I wanted: The Pixies in a different mood. Its been in my car so forgive me I don't know the title, but Track 2 among Gigantic and Where is my Mind..... they should be poppy enough to drag someone in. I still like Doolittle a bit more due to it's a bit darker...
You know I was reading wikipedia on them and whoever wrote it said the Doolittle album ended up cleaner than Surfer Rosa.... I disagree.
