subdecay prometheus dlx

Post by goosekevin »

i really fucking want one

i was mainly after the proteus just for the step filter but then i looked into the prometheus dlx and it seems really fucking cool for not much more than the proteus

any other cool step filters i should know about? i saw the zcat and it looks cool and cheap but limited

why should i not spend a fuckload more cash than i have on the prometheus dlx :idk:

There's always the Proteus.

yeah i was considering it, but the prometheus dlx seems to do so much more for only a little price bump whereas the Zcat is about $115aud
are there any others around 150 bucks?

also is the fm4 worth getting into or is it more trouble than its worth
alternatively an m9 could be really good

I like my Proteus.
It's doing exactly what I need.

Proteus is rad. I use it a lot. But the Prometheus DLX is probably also stupidly good.

As far as I know it's not a super easy build, but hit up one of the dudes in the Shark Tank - they know what they're doing!

I'd guess that outside of Dev's estoteric pedal acquisition contacts, they don't exist. Pretty rare beasts. But soooo rad. I want one, but I'm really happy with the step filter in the Proteus, so it ain't going to happen.
