Re: So, who likes DOD pedals?
this is very funny coincendenc, i just got my dod grunge back in the mail today modified, and its totally great....
its that or my skreddy mayo or dod classic fuzz that is my favorite pedal........and if you compare the differnce btween skreddy myo and dod classic fuzz there is a difference, and a big one, but for the money not that big.
still skreddy mayo owns for life. unti i get my pig mine/................
i just use my muffs clones when i play pumpkins or copy thier sounds.........
then i stick to grunge dod when i play other bands that suck like weezer etc etc
BUT I WILL SAY THIS STAY AWAY FROM AMERICAN METAL + THE METAL X PEDALS those two are the only other dod pedals ive tried and they are completely horrible...........looks to me dod made gurnge and some phoasers and flangers but thats about it.

Re: So, who likes DOD pedals?
i just have three:
i'd say the Classic Fuzz is my favorite. but i really LOVE the Chorus. & while not exactly a great overdrive pedal, you can coax some decent stuff out of the Supra Distortion. w/ DOD, i'd say its the "best bang for your buck" for used pedals overall. a great value. lots of DOD pedals that aren't made anymore can be expensive though, but in general...
- DOD Supra Distortion FX 55-B
- DOD Stereo Chorus FX 65
- DOD Classic Fuzz FX 52

I still want to get a meat box as well. I also want a classic fuzz. Every time I see a fucking buzz box going for $$$ I kick my self for not buying one. My reasoning for not buying one was I got to A?B a Buzzbox against a real Bluebox > Rat combo and thought the BB > rat sounded better. Now I want one but I don't want to pay the going price

Re: So, who likes DOD pedals?
I'm bummed the "Punkifiers" are getting to be one of those expensive/collectible pedals...
Ever since I learned of them, I was really intrigued by the Fuzz/distortion blend idea, and if it's really anything like a Shin-Ei fuzz, then it's bound to be cool.
I finally got my hands on a Thrash Master last week. Sounds cool... some applications I've used it in sound too similar to the Metal Maniac, but I think the TM has a bit more treble, and the MM has a slightly "rattier" sound with a bit more low-end when used with a guitar.
I've given up on trying to find a Corrosion, Buzz Box or Meat Box...
Still hoping to find a good deal of a Metal X and Punkifier, though...

Don't tempt me
That Punkifier [well a long with a Univox bass neck] hit my limit on buying gear for the month
