Apparently the answer is "loud." Ran into Dannyvon on campus today, now I'm conspiring to bring him to my house and kill him for his bass. I mean jam and stuff.

ATTN FELLOW EGC OWNERS: any tips on ridding neck-dive? im probably going to look into trying out a leather strap or something soon, but i thought id ask here first.

HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG.

Also, I don't have much of a neck dive problem, but I think it might have to do with where the strap peg is located.

even if i wanted to move the strap button to the more desirable spot located on the heel of the neck, i cant because of the routing on EGC bodies :idk: i dont think id want to drill and all that anyways. definitely not an EGC specific issue, but if anyone has any snazzy home-remedie tricks to help with neck-dive, let me know!

Erm....the way I got used to having a neck dive-y thunderbird was just kinda...get used to holding up the neck with your hand? Or kinda prop it up with your right arm pressing against the body?

I feel that as I've shortened the strap neck dive seems to become less of an issue. & yeah just kind of support it with your fretting hand. But I'm dealing with a semi-hollow and not an aluminum neck so iunno if it's totally different or anything.
