Finally popped my cherry and played my first live gig ever last night! Opened for My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult and Left Spine Down (aka LSD), at Club Red in Tempe. 25 minute DJ style set straight off my ipod nano into a little yamaha mixer, super easy and ultra-compact setup. I played all the tracks that are on my soundcloud page, plus another new one and an old one, and started the set with this sample:
Rocked the fuck out, and seemed to make a pretty good impression on what little crowd was there (around 50 people or so), and the guys from LSD. Had a blast and now I can't wait to do it again. One guy told me that he'd been into my stuff since the myspace days, that really blew me away.

So I failed at building my Tap Tempo Trem project and instead of troubleshooting it (I hate troubleshooting electronics) I setup a trade to have DannDubbleEwe finish the project for me. He just sent me pics of the etched/painted enclosure and this thing is going to be a thousands types of awesome. I am more excited for this pedal than I have been for any other I've gotten. I'm sure either he or I will be posting pics of the finished product very soon.

So one of my friends is getting me an interview at the company he works for. It would be another bump in pay, and would turn my 2 hours in the car every day into maybe 15 minutes.
