What would you like to hear in a RRR demo?

Post by madmax1012 »

Thinking of starting to make some pedal demo's and I figured I'd start with my newly beloved RRR. I know there's a bunch of videos out there that already show how sweet it is, but is there anything you'd like to hear in particular? I've found that most of the demo's don't show how extreme it can get, and I've also realized it sounds phenomenal when being pushed by a SS/BS Fuck. But yeah, I guess I'm taking requests now! Any suggestions are welcome :hello:

The leslie setting, doing that Led Zep tune that's all warbly-like. I feel like such a loser, I can't even count how many times I've listened to that song, but I've gone completely blank. But yeah, that one. And RRR with fuzz before - I hate mine with fuzz before it but I've heard dudes who swear by it... intrigued to see how others set their RRRs before the fuzzies.

I love running fuzz into my RRR, actually so much so that when I am playing, my RRR doesn't get shut off.

I would love to see what you can do with the plate settings. Those seem to be what I use least, but I know there are amazing sounds to be had.

Yeah, do some weird stuff, Max! Put the RRR before the fuzz!

but.. but.. but... it sounds awesome like this! This is how 99% of users use it and like it! Over 2000 happy customers with their RRR at the end of their chain, fuzz or distortion and all other effects feeding into it. You can't hate it, Greigy, you just can't! *falls off chair*

Shit, I mean, RRR before fuzz. I'm one of the 99% who fails to understand the other 1%.

Yeah, I really wish I would have tried mine into fuzz when I had it :mope: I miss my raindropberator with the color-changing LED.

Fuck and fuzz into it, and the max max max decay times for the hugest verb it does! I'm pretty interested in getting one and I'd like to hear that.

Sweet on the No Quarter! Sounds really rad.
What settings on the RRR for the fuzz clip?

That would be the normal plate setting with the mix around 1:30

That's awesome, Spencer!

No quarter sounds great and I really dig that reverb/fuzz sound, I think that works really well and sounds very interesting... nice demos buddy!

I dig Crowbar's version of No Quarter... doesn't have that sweet rotary sound but it has other things going for it...
