however, the M9 takes up a fair amount of space as is. the tuner is a nice addition, and the M9 is an awesome unit. I also don't really get the polytune. I've always thought the two best tuners, and ones you see the most, are the Boss and the Korg.

Was unaware the polytune was a trend. I just mentioned it because I've had a boss tuner and now I use the tuner on the m9. But sometimes it doesnt seem completely accurate so I was wondering if there was better options.

I was recently exposed to the Polytune and while I'm not necessarily hot and bothered over the poly mode, in general it seemed to track my baritone better than my Pitchblack

Why? How could you tune more than one string at a time?

M9 tuner is fine. I checked it with a snark on the headstock at the same time and they were simpatico. If I had a regret, its that using the tuner silently as most of us do means I can't leave a loop playing while I tune. But that's small.
Regarding the polytune, its not that you can tune multiple strings at a time with your six hands, its that you can see with one strum which, if any, strings are out of tune, so you don't have to check each string for relative tuning in a pinch. I've never used one, but it makes sense to me.

Fuck tuners. Talk to me about the compressor on this bish.
Can it get super squishy? And can you crank the sustain up to infinity?
Futuresailors wants to cop himself some soft focus.
