Pedal trends that need to go away

So it seems like once someone does something kinda cool, everyone else tries and eventually it becomes totally lame. What are some things you think people should stop doing? Personally I'm getting really annoyed with shimmer verbs...

Yeah, I totally see everyone jumping on the shimmer verb train. But at the same time I think it pushes people to make their shimmeries sound different from the other shimmeries that are out there, although I know that's not always the case. I'd like to see a few of our ILF builders takes on shimmer verbs and see how they could totally +1 on everything on the market

I could understand part-for-part clones of pedals, hell yeah, but when I make clones of circuits, they're usually heavily modified. Likewise, I'd rather destroy a clone modding it to get the right sound that I want rather than a vintage or boutique pedal that would cost me a pretty penny to buy another of. Those are just my two cents on it!

i find those colors offensive
and horizontal enclosures like zvex and pigtronix
that orientation just dont work
for pedal board layout or even kickin the switch
its too close to the knobs, shame on them
