INTERNET! HEAR MY WOES!
So... I'm taking calc II and I've never done this bad in a math class. Also, I'm working harder for this math class than I have any other math class. It's not like I don't have time to study, I'm only taking two classes. It's simply that he is testing the material in a way that's MUCH harder than it needs to be to test the concept. For instance: I had a take home quiz over the weekend. It was five questions long and I spent at least two hours on one question. It wasn't because I did't understand the chapter section that was covered, or that I hadn't spent time doing the voluntary homework for that section, it was because in order to answer the question you had to: remember how to factor a difference of cubes, how to complete the square, and you had to know how to factor X-1 into 1/2*(2X+1-3). I knew how to do integration by parts and the trigonometric substitution, which was what the quiz was on, and even figured out the difference of cubes and completing the square. What I couldn't figure out was what to do with X-1 when I got that. I went to the math lab after I turned it in to have someone help me with it and the first person had to call over a second person to help out, and neither of them could understand why the professor had made it that hard.
I just tried to switch into a different section with a professor I've had before. It's at 7:30 in the morning, so I had to get up at six. And I get there and they're getting ready to take a test. Also, they're six sections ahead of the class that I'm in

I'd try for a different section but there's a chance I'd be in an equally shitty class and have to play catch-up
