Vintage Double Muff?

Post by the_carl »

Was there ever such a thing as a vintage Double Muff? I thought they were a strictly 2001 and later thing, but in looking up used prices, apparently someone sold one as a vintage 1984 model on eBay for $100 (wasn't EHX out of business in 1984?) and there's another listed for $150 on GC Used. Just wondering if people are dumb or if I'm missing something.

I'm almost certain there was not a vintage version of that pedal.

If it has an On/Off status LED you can usually bet it's a reissue.

Not to be confused with Power On/Off.

That's hilarious. I think I paid like $20 for one with the wooden box in 2008-abouts.

Then again, I had also bought a black Russian BMP for like $30.

This is true, just subtract 30 from the number on the PCB and you have the year of production. That's why those 3003 big muffs are so 'spensive, they're from the fuckin' future. :animal:

lololol

I just asked this guy what evidence he had that his was from the 80's-90's. He edited that part out and replied with "typo sorry this was made in 2001." One hell of a typo. Still $210.
