Well the classics are the EHX Small clone (think one's for sale right now in the B/S/T) the BOSS CE-2 (expensive vintage but Mooer make a mini clone that's cheap) and the BOSS DC-2 (behringer make a pretty much exact clone, for the cost compared to the rare originals, it's pretty awesome).

Lots of choruses are just clones of these.

visual sound's chorus (especially the h2o) are rly good for the price. same with the Hardwire chorus. actually come to think of it, the hardwire series is prolly the best point for gettin your feet wet with any modulation you aren't used to.

Rocktron's Dreamstar chorus sounds pretty decent for the price, too. unique controls, too.

oh, and while we're on flangers and rocktron, they finally added a sound clip for my flanger: http://www.rocktron.com/products/stompb ... ticflange/
i love the idea, and idk if they've adjusted the circuit or not, but it SORTA falls short unless its at extreme settings, but i gotta say i was surprised with it. subtle, variable, and plays well with others.

I dig flanger set to mimic chorus, post distortion. That is super rad. Otherwise the two straight chorus pedals I've had didn't like being post distortion, and I don't generally like modulation pre distortion. But the clip Ryan did of the V3 cosmi with the Frazz sounded amazing.
