Is the Jonny Octave...

...just two Dan Armstrong Green Ringers in one box?
the right footswitch turns on one green ringer, the left turns on both?

I don't think so... I think it has transformers in side it like an Octavia except 2 rectifier stages instead of one and I assume he put a booster stage in there aswell... I think he used the schematic from a 70's pedal called the Brass Master from my readings...

It's a Maestro Brassmaster clone?

Does it sound a lot like the Malekko B:Assmaster?

:idk:
It's a clean octave up pedal, so you can use whatever fuzz you want as an octavia.

It wasn't the Malleko, think it was this, don't hold me to it but it isn't a green ring I don't think... Octane may be though?

That link goes to the old Maestro Brassmaster. The Malekko B:assmaster is essentially a clone of that, down to the graphics. http://www.malekkoheavyindustry.com/index.php?page=b-assmaster

It's also a completely awesome pedal. Doesn't answer the Octane question though, sorry...
