the last 24 h were the first in like two weeks or longer where there was no extra stress, just a simple workday.

also my sweet co-worker seems to be warming up to me again. she asked me out for beers some time next week.

I got to play super loud for the first time in a while today. I had a ton of fun just rocking out, and inspired enough to post on craigslist about starting a project. I hope someone actually want to. Need some community freakouts.

& I had a decent job interview today. If I get this job I can also move out of my dad's house. Super excited, hope it happens.

Shit. Dude, I totally did not mean to ignore that when you sent me it. I had it opened, and my girlfriend popped online and I got distracted. I'm actually going to read it now.

And I got glasses. :thumb: I CAN SEE SHIT IN DETAIL AGAIN. It was really just distances getting kind of blurry and undefined, but it's enough that I'm just more comfortable wearing them.

I randomly found and IMed a dude from Amherst who does some fucking weird electronic stuff asking if he was interested in collaborating, and he said sure. Drrty Pharms x Kamikaze Test/CatEater. Should be interesting.

I still like Cat Eater better, but Kamikaze Test is just probably a better MC name.

Dialed in a really good tone on my setup tonight, after the pedalboard update. I sat zoning out, Ghost Echo on long echos, droning notes, and playing the hymn from The Hobbit trailer (that the dwarves sing.. very Led Zeppelin)

I think I know which pedals need to come out of the chain, too. Some of the overdrive/distortion just isn't doing it for me. Found a really, really great overdrive sound on the McSpunkle And Aardvarks! where previously I'd only really had it acting like a boost and the gain being all sputtery and transistory. Dunno what changed, but I like it! And Aardvarks! at the beginning of the chain and the Fuck at the end makes for sweet sweet tones. Sadly, the new Truck Loud just doesn't give me any tones I want right now.. I need a different amp. Too hard to get good tones on this amp. :idk:

Although he will never know it, one man has aided me throughout a lifetime of troubles in my household. In my most vulnerable of states, he has neither judged nor denied me help, but only offered his assistance. Witnessing gory scenes of domestic destruction at all times, he was more than willing to offer his services when I needed it, and for that I am eternally grateful. Thank you Samuel Prosser, inventor of the toilet plunger.
