Re: new TC Electronic Flashback?
Yeah, that's what I'm sayin'. Around $300 is too much for me.
I'm thinking that it'll be about twice the price of a regular Flashback though? That'd kinda make sense.

Re: new TC Electronic Flashback?
OK, so, I just looked at the Andertons website.
I think hazelwould's right. Andertons sell regular Flashbacks for the equivalent of about $215 USD.
So, that's about $50 more than they go for over here. So, what would the adjusted price of the x4 be?

$249 according to my algebra.

Sounds about right. Let's hope that's what it's gonna go for.

Close enough, keep in mind that those Andertons prices include 20% VAT which you Colonials don't have.

That sure is true. I just figure if I'm going to spend £200 on a delay I might as well spend a bit more on a timefactor or timeline, which can also do that.

That's all fine; it just shouldn't have the word "demo" in the title. I have no problem with long wordy explanations on YouTube in general, I just don't like how often their "misfiled".

Kinda weird that it's less over here even though they're European.
If it does end up being 250, I'll give it a chance, although I haven't seen any TonePrints that are as cool as some of the modes on the DelayLab, and my experience with the Flashback is that most of the modes don't oscillate.

Way, way too much high end on the Space Echo, they're hi-fi compared to some delays, but....that's earsplintering in decent phones.

I'm about eh on this. The Flashbacks are good, everyone else seems to love them which is fine - though i'd rather have a DD-7 to the original FB just because they're durable as well and a bit cheaper. I just bought and EQD Ghost Disaster for $250 so, yeah?
Yes, it's one of those guys.

When a European-made product is sent to countries outside of the UE, the taxes of that country, Danish in this instance, is removed. At that point, the only VAT paid is the American tax rate, or whatever it is in that respective country. It'll cost different in Australia, Japan, South Africa, etc., because they have all different VAT rates, and that's what the customer will pay.
The funny thing is, it's actually sometimes cheaper to buy a European-made product from an American dealer like Pro Guitar Shop who can sometimes slip their packages through customs if it's a pedal or something that doesn't require full insurance. T-Rex, TC Electronics, these are prime example of it being more economical to buy from PryMaxe or PGS than a local distributor.

Re: new TC Electronic Flashback?
Yeah, pricing for different markets is sometimes funny that way.

Holy shit.
If that's the actual price, I may be trading/selling my DelayLab very soon. I've just discovered that I need more than 28 seconds of looping time.
