I had a dream that I went to a lightning bolt show, but they didn't play loud and they had a guitar player. And there was a girl in the background of the stage and she was dressed up like snoop dog and had 'bitches' around her, and she started rapping at one point. Then I went on stage and got lost in a sort of trip. After the show, Bhendy and his wife were there. And his wife was cheating on him. She even got to me when Bhendy was drunk and sleeping, but I didn't wanna hurt him so I run away from there. Then I found out that I burned my hands internals with a live electrical wire, on purpose, and I had lots of burns and stuff, but I was ok. And then I went to see if I passed my genetics exam and proceeded to a japanese toilet facility near by where two men (that looked like they got out of the shogunate period) were trying to get me killed

Haha. This makes me sound like a douchecanoe but I'm so in love with my bass, that it's very rare for me to look at another bass and even find it slightly attractive.....but those do it for me. Totally do it for me.

As far as recording applications are concerned, you're actually right. My bro has the newest version of Reason, and it can emulate almost anything that any pedal can, plus more. As far as live is concerned, it just seems like too much can go wrong with PC's. Dunno. I'm sure dudes are doing it all the time though. Shit NIN has to be running some of their shit through a computer. Has too. Other bands like that probably do it all the time. Plus DJ's do it. Fuck man...you're probably onto something here. Sell me your god damn Megalith now!!!!!!!! NOW!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

I could definitely see the advantage of using a computer if you could afford to replace it if something went wrong. And you always worked with a FOH/monitor guy who understood it (sound guys can be a real PITA).
You can do a lot more now on a computer than you could with pedals/racks for a fraction of the price. For recording purposes, I'll run direct in and use plugins rather than worry about micing an amp and it sounding bad because I can't crank it up.
In other words, I don't use a computer, but I get it. :)

I loooooooove my Schecter, flaws and all. I'm not sure I will ever find a guitar that feels as nice in my hands.

That said, the sight of a Rickenbacker (any, but mostly a 4003, and I'm not even a bassist!) still makes me cream.

The megalith is the only thing I haven't been able to recreate, yet. It's just so freaking gritty. I think at some point I might delve enough into the software to find it.....but that might be a while.

As far as cost....I could buy a very expensive laptop as backup with the money I had leftover from my board sale.
