My girlfriend got off work a little earlier today and went home to clean out a space in our attic (really an extra, unheated room that's the size of a bedroom) to use a practice room / recording area. Plus there's a desk where I can solder electronics (build pedals). Cool!

My little brother texted me that he got a new guitar + amp today: Squier VM Jaguar and Vox Pathfinder. Glad that he's playing guitar; he had some trouble with pain in his hands and had to quit guitar for about 3 years.. now that he's playing again we theorized that a shorter scale would be less tension and easier on his fingers, so I helped him out on affording the new Jag..
