What do you like in yours!? Have you found your perfect delay?
same here. analog + dedicated modulation controls + tap tempo + trails
i think the moogerfooger mf104m is the only thing that checks off everything on that list. i cant afford it though i love the sound of analog but without tap tempo they aren't that usable to me, unless im just playing by myself.
still waiting on a priced-for-mortals analog delay with tap.
EHX Deluxe Memory Boy has everything on that list, except for trails, for less than 2 bills

forgot about that one. and fx loop too! aandd...i want one now
I'm honestly pretty set (but I have more delay that Christ on a stick), with the venerable Space Echo, a couple Digitech RDS things with obscene lofi delay ranges and modulation controls that well, aren't like anything else much, my Digi Time Bender for wierd harmonized stuff and Echoplex sim, and my custom NoisekickFx Guano Loco with analog delay built in with oscillation momentary switch.
I like the other couple ones in my chain but well, I think I could usually survive without them.
When push came to shove though, give me a Space Echo and point me at the sky.

still waiting on a priced-for-mortals analog delay with tap. supa-puss?
Bro! I think someone posted the way huge Supa puss up there and everything checks out on that one! But it's not out yet.
Wierd as it is, only need I have for a tap tempo is on things that have multi-tap capacity that can be set by that. Even then I can do it by hand but it's nice sometimes to set up psycho easily.
Non-delay I have more use for a tap tempo - like on certain trem/vibes, it really is nice.
