volume pedal
I need a good volume pedal that leaves your tone alone, and think the dunlop dpv1 might fit that bill
any suggestions or first hand experience?
not much online about this one
thanks

Re: volume pedal
dunlop is built like a brick and a ton of people use the Ernie Ball. and then there's the Boss which I've been seeing a bunch of lately...just don't let someone convince you that they only option is the Goodrich.

Re: volume pedal
ernie ball vp jr is the jam
the bigger ones big(12")
the jr isnt small(10.5")
other than that dont know the difference
also top mounted jacks work well on and off the board
used a dunlop for a bit and i like the eb footprint better
feel like i can actually stand on it for a while if doin swells or quick stops
the dunlop only put my foot on it if i was gonna use it at tha moment
not sure if you can adjust tension or not

Re: volume pedal
You can adjust the tension on the Dunlop DVP-1 and it is fairly transparent.

Re: volume pedal
I've broken two Ernie Ball Vol Juniors now.
I'm curious to try the Boss volume pedal. It's buffered, of course, but shouldn't touch your tone.

A friend said it rolls off some low frequencies.

Re: volume pedal
thanks y'all, I think I might just get one. Never really had one. Keep selling them. So it's basically just a load on the pickups a bit right? Like running into a stereo memory man, which has great bypass by the way...

It's just a potentiometer with an output of something like 250k ohms at full toe-position.
