Farmer's Mill / promised videos

Post by crushsound »

Hi Everyone,

It's been quite a while yet we have the promised video reviews on our website in the Experience tab. Also some coverage from the magazines is included on the FB profile and in the About Us section of the website.
Hope these let you set your opinion on what Farmer's Mill is about and once again thanks for being tolerant;)

Interesting. I thought it was going to be more of an effect you can add to anything to sound like it's breaking. Sounds more like an effed up tremolo to me, though. Neat, though.

'd be better with a built-in analog delay.

This pedal seems to be designed very well, and the website is simple and professional.

I like effects like this, but I also feel like, personally, I could use it as "something cool" for one song, but that's it. It's not gimmicky, but I don't think it's anything that will radically change your sound. A "fucked-up tremolo" like Moustache_Bash said... pretty accurate.

But hopefully there are some guitarists that will be able to use it in really cool ways... or perhaps the very simple idea of the Farmer's Mill will give way to an even more interesting idea... maybe something a little more jarringly random and unpredictable.

I do like the momentary switch though... even if it is a little Fuck-ish.

Hi!

Thanks for your kind comments!
Currently we are working on a new edition which is supposed to be a bit smaller and much more affordable (plus features of course). It will take some time, as you probably guess yet we'll be back in a few months. Some really great things took place in the meantime, which we cannot share in detail at this moment (or wouldn't like to "blunder";).

all best and thanks again

i would use this on super dissonant arpeggios into a shit ton of fuzz/dist and a good helping of reverb for some totally maniacal sounds.
