Telltale Signs of Buy/Sell/Trade Scammers?
Nevermind! I was being overly cautious. Never hurts to ask when in doubt, though! Thanks for the repsonses.

1. Some people register here just for BST and the give aways.
2. When you click PM, it automatically puts the thread topic as the PM subject.
3. Maybe he wants to make sure it's still available because he's been looking for one.
But have him pay you through paypal and you'll be fine.

Btw, the "Is it still available?" question (without mentioning the item) seems to be in every Craigslist spam response to anything I've ever posted, so even though it's a fair question it always makes me a little suspicious...

I don't think it's a bad idea to be overly cautious with unknown buyers.
As futuresailors said, as long as the payment is secure, you'll probably be fine.
