Swans Tour

Post by RoyalPalmer »

Couldnt find a thread, but sorry if there already is one.

Went last night. Mind blown. 2 hours long. So intense. My first time seeing them. It was a transcending experience.

Seeing them in November. Saw them last tour, and I cant really think of any one concert that left a mark on me like that. Such a powerful band. Maybe Fushitsusha was a somewhat close experience.

They're playing a very different set than on last years tour. It was so good though. Saw them last Friday and definitely go if you can

Do you have a setlist from last year or from this year?

No, but they're only playing one old song on this tour. They did a couple last time. Also just the new material is different enough from their last record. There's a tour dvd that comes with some versions of the record (came with my 3xlp) that's got what they were doing last year on it.

edit: actually if you look up the live record just put out it's from the last tour and will give you a good idea of what they were playing too. it's a great cd i'd recommend it.

Should be amazing anyway. When I saw them the instruments were feeding for seriously 20 minutes before they even walked on stage. Such a good opening to a show.

Seeing them Oct 26th, can't wait! They're probably my most significant musical discovery of the last 5 years
