Best superfuzz's out there that nail the original tone pretty damn well are the CF Harakiri and the Wattson Superfuzz. Both are totally worht looking into. For versatility that strays somewhat from the original sound, the super puzzle is a great choice.

Wattson is suuuuuuuuuuuuper accurate super fuzz. Very rad. FZ-2 is like SF on fucking roids. I love mine, had both at the same time, and got rid of the wattson. And, the behringer is a clone of that.

That's the extent of my knowledge though.

Isn't the FZ-2 the "Electric Wizard pedal?"

The versatility of the Super-puzzle is intriguing....

It sure is. It suuuuuuuuuuure is pretty much the only thing that defines that tone. Turn it on, boom, there it is.

I love these recomandations ;)

Boss rc-2: save up to 11 loops, easy to use, great sounding drum beats, cheap, reliable.

Zvex lofi for the magic flair.

I've read that the boss looper/samplers (maybe it was the RC-30 ?) gave a slight delay when switching loops/samples. Can anyone confirm this?

There are two modes, a quantized mode or something which keeps it to an established tempo in the machine or a musical mode which doesn't. You need to boot it up in the musical mode and then you won't have an issue. Otherwise it puts in little gaps to make sure it is following a metronome, unless you are magically gifted and hit the beat every time.
The thing that annoyed me was that sometimes it switched back to the metronome mode but then you just boot it up holding the right buttons and it works.
Definitely like the boss but they seem catered to dude's who wanna do one man bands rather than anything experimental (reverse is never like a button unless you make it one, speed change glitch is ridiculous) but then most of that can get fixed and the glitch is pretty cool, you just have to work a bit harder to bypass the things it puts in to make it "work" better

As far as loopers/samplers go, I'm looking to use it for kind of a one-man-band thing. I just want something that I can a: record loops and samples, both while not performing, and while performing, and b: use these samples and loops during live settings. I can do some pretty heavy layers with just a DD7 and a DL4, but I need a tad bit more. Oh, and XLR would be nice, so I know the Boss has that....

el ten eleven dude uses three of these in a row (with a whammy between the second and third). They seem like a solid bet. I want one. Or two
