It was awesome. Lee ended up Dj'ing which was cool. A lot of Swans and death industrial were played. Dead in the Dirt was pretty good. I'm glad someone shouted 'play louder' half way through their set because it prompted the guitarist to turn up his amp which I couldn't hear at all before.

Sunn O)))'s set was awesome. I was expecting it to be a lot louder than it was, I ended up taking out my ear plugs, but the force of all the speakers being in phase along with how much fog they pumped into the room made it hard to breathe in some spots. It was definitely about FEELING it, my feet felt so heavy at times, like I couldn't pick them up. I'm really impressed with how smoothly everything went. Tos' Moog rig tripped the circuit about 4-5 times, but you definitely couldn't tell with Greg and Steve's guitars going. At one point when it was just Steve's aluminum noises and no Moog I saw Greg disappear behind the stacks, I'm guessing to switch around some of the power chords to different circuits so they wouldn't keep tripping because it didn't happen again after that.

Apparently there's going to be an announcement about the proposed Sunn 0)))/Pelican Australasia tour in the next day or so. The rumour is that it will be just Pelican coming over. Dammit. If I could only see the one band it would be Sunn 0))).
Not all bad though, got to play with Earth last night including hanging out with Dylan Carlson after the show.
Really nice guy.
