Some of the TonePrints can get pretty extreme.
Hadn't noticed the other problems you mentioned, but as I've said, it's not perfect. I'll have to listen and hear if I can notice 'em.
The guy who helps me with the guitar's maintenance had one and he was trying to sell it, so I borrowed it, hoping that it could be more extreme than my univibe. I made several tests with my entire rig and, like I wrote before, it was good in some cases but for the rest... not so much.

That's weird. Must be differences in our guitar/amp set up. I just played with my Shaker and was getting a slight boost when the pedal was on.
I hope you find another vibrato pedal you like better.
If you don't, you should give the Shaker another try. The TonePrints really do make it very flexible. I loaded the "Slow Sweeper" TonePrint and really love it.

Update: so I ordered the Malekko Vibrato from a chilean importing company called FuzzBox but there was a problem since I wanted the new version which runs from 9V to 18V and they sent me the previous version instead (9V to 12V). I don't want to use it yet because I don't have a 12VDC adapter and called the company to inform about the problem... Damn it! that's why I wanted the new version because I do have a 18V adapter, but anyway...
There's a little detail that is killing me right now (yeah, I'm a maniac, I know that). Everytime I move the pedal, there's a subtle noise inside of it, pretty much like a "rattle", as if a very tiny part was loose. Is this normal or not?

Did you open the pedal up and take a look to see if anything is loose?
Also, is there someone in Chile who can build you what you want? That might be easier than importing a pedal.

It's digital, so no, it isn't a CE2 clone. It's a nice cheap chorus though.
I'm pretty certain you are both thinking of different pedals of the same name. The original Cool Cat Chorus was the big metal enclosure, and is a CE-2 clone. The current Dano Cool Cat Chorus is a little plastic blue, possibly digital, thing. Dano has been using "Cool Cat" as the name for the last few Series of pedals. So, you're both right.
