I have not. I've tried the Pharaoh, LSTR, Hoof, Blunderbuss. All of them thrown off by the Green Monster for one reason or another... It's just THAT THING. I still want to try an Eau Claire out of curiosity once though

I haven't tried a green muff, LSTR or blunderbuss, but the ECT kicked ass above all the others (not that they were all the same, but you know). If you wanna temp trade sometime I'd be down. But you can't keep it for too long, it's my favorite ;)

The baby thundaa was my first booteek pedal. I want another one, it fucking rocks on bass, and makes a killer guitar fuzzstortion too. It has this super grindy spitting attack, but a really nice sustaining growl to it as well. I usually just leave the tonestack off.

I need to get a green russian muff. All this searching for fuzzzzzzz has lead me to believe that I just need a muff that is perfectly dirty and simply green.
Fuzz, reverb, delay.

Yeah, tone-stack off is my favorite as well, love that growl. I usually turn it off when I want a darker/less intense sound. I also really like the big version mainly because the trim knob is fucking indispensable when stacking with other gain or buffered pedals. The extra foot switches and timewarp is super nice, too.

I read that the Green Russian has a bit more mids than the American/NYC Muffs. Is that accurate? I like the Muff sound, but I could never really get along with the huge mid scoop of the few NYC Muffs I've tried (including clones). I mean, it's not like I'm expecting HUEG OPEN MIDS with the Green Russian, but yea, sound clips and descriptions make me think that a Green Russian would be the Muff for me.

I wouldn't say huge open mids, but they're definitely present. When you roll the tone back some, they become very defined, almost overdrive like.

Thanks dood!
Mmmm...well, I'm really not the best person to ask because there's only one setting I ever use. low all the way up, high at 1 to 3, distortion turned so far down that one degree more will turn it off. Umm, but other than that I guess it sounds like an HM-2
I don't even like the HM-2. Just that one setting. It's pretty cool to smack other fuzzes with though. And that setting's good for everything from TEH GAZE to clankety-clank-I'm-a-shitty-sterile-distorted-guitar-now-watch-this-guy-masturbate-via-tapping.

Aw man I've been wanting a big ECT foreverrrrr nowwwwww HNNNNGGGG

The clutter says IGNORE ME

Adding an anti-nautilus and an octave (and the blowing up once I figure out where I want it) and I think I'm done for a while...student loan payments just started rolling in and I'm fairly happy with this anyways. Plus I'm not into letting tap dancing interfere with my playing antics. Should've tried stacking fuzz before, sounds massive. This of course doesn't include diy stuffs :thumb:

Edit: d'oh upsidedown

Cool. Might have to track down a Green Russian to try out. Or build a clone.

For some reason, clones never quite do it for me when it comes to Green Muffs. They sound mean and heavy, but there's just something about the originals that just can't be matched.

I'm borrowing the Fuck from a friend until my custom SS/BS comes, but I've had it for like 11 minutes and it's already my favorite pedal ever.
