So I got the WRHB in the mail today along with the Peavey Raptor. The Raptor is in pretty rough shape but that's fine with me as I had to chunk out a decent amount of the control cavity to get the WRHB to fit. Still waiting on the lipsticks, but here she is in all her glory:
The WRHB is TERRIFYINGLY AMAZING. Seriously so clear yet can get so heavy.
Sanded down all the poly on the paint, sanded down and stripped the guard after I cut it and sprayed the guard with gold metallic. Didn't have to clear coat the pickguard which was nice. There are a few tiny chunks missing out of the neck on the low E side, but I bend the opposite way.
When I got the guitar the output jack had come unsoldered. The jackplate had caused about a 1" crack on either side of the guitar. A little hairline split in the neck pocket. But it seems like solid shit. I forsee new tuners in its future.
You can definitely tell which are the sitty Peavey pickups and which is the WRHB while playing it haha. It's not left the WRHB only selected on the 5 way switch
