GAWD, I was getting so sick of a few particular scratchy fuckers. I just did one bass so far, but after playing it for a while one of the new EQ pots is ever so slightly crackling.
Learned an important tip.... always order way more than what you need.

In: My MEGA SEXXY Dannyboy etched fuzz demon!
I had it sent to work because I knew I would miss the mailman all this week. Of course you all know that feel when you get excited about gear when people ask "what's in the box" and them immediately regret it because you start rambling on about starve mods, socketed caps, and cascading gain stages, but....
Do you know that feel when that person is a cute girl and then when you pull out the box for the first time it says "BONRZ" in big red letters?

Thanks for everything, Dan.

Re: What is in the post? The thread of and for GAS!
Just in today:
Arc Effects DAM FR70 Fuzzrong Clone
Paisley Superfuzz
Both awesome fuzzes, going on my nasty fuzz board that I'm planning. Thinking the signal will be something like:
Custom Dirge (blendable FZ-1A and FY-2)-->Vintage Shin Ei FY-2-->Paisley Superfuzz-->FR70 Fuzzrong-->Bad Stone Phaser Clone
Thinking of just doing some simple, dirty, noisy grindcore inspired stuff. Short songs, simple drum beats and layers of fuzz (thinking like 5 or 6 tracks)

Re: What is in the post? The thread of and for GAS!
I want a ricky baaaaaaad.
I saw a jetglo 360/6 on ebay the other day for $1300. Damn.
I'm also really thinking of selling my jaguar. It's a MIJ 2008ish one, and I've got an skb hardshell with it. Beautiful block inlays, and it's sunburst.
I just never play. It's sat in it's case for probably close to 2 months. I broke the bridge a while ago, but it's still playable. I need to have it fixed, but I'm broke for either a few days, or a month depending on what I made this month.
I have no use for it when my telecaster is around. I'll fix it up, run it through the new rig, and that may be the nail in it's coffin.
I could probably easily get $800 for it here on craigslist. That's a pretty big jump start to a new guitar fund.
It's either gonna be a ricky, or an orville les paul custom in black. One day I'll own both, but I'll take whichever comes first.

Some good news... my Aquavibe is finally ready to ship!
Also I just got my Tym Distortion + clone.
It's purdyyy and sounds pretty tight through the Pathfinder (no proper amp at home for a month):
