SuperFuzz builders!

What did you use for transistors in that bad boy? Way too many options for me to choose on my own :idk:

1 Siemens AC153 and 2 AC124

I happenend to find them on old PCBs, if you buy them they're surprisingly eypensive (around 3-7 EURs each, sometimes cheaper)

But I'm very. very happy with the way this pedal sounds, so even if I had paid the prices above, it would be totally worth it!

I also just received 3 transistors from guitarPCB for the pumped up ToneBender (close to a SupaFuzz), haven't used them yet, tho.
But it might be a good option, too.

Aw thanks, should've been more specific; I'm talking about the ShinEi/Univox/Unicord Superfuzz, originally using 2SC828 and 2SC539 caps...

2n3904 seems to work okay.

The 2sc###'s are pretty easy to find online if accuracy is your thing.

You looking for univox super fuzz Or Marshall supafuzz as in second post. Two different circuits I assume you munching for univox style. 2sc828s is nice. Play with diffrent emitter resistors and tune that shit. Get breadboards now.

Try it with germ diodes, silicon or none

I've never laid down a superfuzz except on breadboard. When I do acetone fuzzmasters I tend to like it best without diodes. Germs just always sounded too squishy. 914 or 4148 diodes better. Best for my ear has been none or silicon, usually with a switch...
