Omg karaoke Friday and nobody I chill with is here. It's insanely lame. Gotta do Fat Lip in a minute though. Then I'll leave.

But this chick singing is so bad!

I hauled two truckloads of yard debris to the dump today, and my hips and lower back hurt like a son of a bitch from shoveling, raking, and hauling stuff in/out of the truck. i wish i had a Vicodin, because naproxen ain't doing nothing at all.

See now, I'm the complete opposite. I would actually prefer to have a Squier as long as it plays & sounds good, because then I won't worry about fucking up my instrument. I would never be able to play, say, a vintage jazzmaster because I would forever be afraid I'd accidentally smash the headstock off or something. Plus if you get famous and you're using a Squier or whatever you can just be all "fuck you guys I'm awesome with whatever I feel like playing."

Playing at a bar last night and my amp stops working halfway through a song. So I got stuck once again playing through someone else's shitty amp.

It kinda pissed me off but we got a shitload of free beer so that was cool

Anxious as fuck all the god damn time.

I don't know. I miss my girlfriend, but she really doesn't seem like she misses me as much. Maybe it's just because she's so busy, and I'm not, but I feel really, I don't know, alone I guess. Like I'm losing my best friend.

I mean, I think it's an overreaction on my part, aggravated by anxiety. And I'm fucking paranoid, so I'm afraid that I'm not getting the full story on things.

I fucking hate being where I am.

i am so motherfucking tired of clearing years of yard debris from the property so i can get the bank's relocation money, which i've got to have to relocate. i did five truckloads in the last three days, and i've got a load of garbage that's going to need to go as well as well as at least one more trip with yard stuff, branches, and general shite.

but i'm making serious progress...almost all the dead plant material is gone from the flat parts of the yard and the deck around the house, which only leaves the stuff i have to rake off the roof. i want to get the outside stuff as sorted as i can tomorrow because that was this weeks' goal, which will leave me two weeks to clear out the storage sheds and clean up the house. and it's good for me because it's making me get off my ass and do physical work, which i've done more of in the last few years.

It feels good to get the shit done that you've been putting off, even if it is in the midst of a move...

I see this as you getting the ball rolling and by the time it stops you'll be across the country and hopefully in a better place...

Momentum and moving forward... :zen:

Yeah. That's probably it. I'm just not busy enough to not be freaking out. :idk:

this. as i gradually peel back layers of junk and bring the house/property back to something like the way it was when things here with my ex were functional, it's both emotionally draining--i ask myself almost every day "how could we do this to ourselves?"--and liberating, because it gets one more layer of worry and obligation off of me. but it does make me happy to see the place in better shape...i feel like i'm redeeming some of the neglect we showed when we were spending all our time fighting and being bitter. i want to leave the house in decent shape, because i loved it and would like it to be a happy home for someone else someday.
