also, fuck YEAH, Lightning Bolt's playing the same smaller club i saw the at last time this Monday. this time my drummer and singer are coming. she almost didn't because, "oh, YOU and the DRUMMER are going to see a band with a BASS PLAYER and a DRUMMER but no singer? no fair.". she's.... kinda... adorable.

fuck. first time (only time) i saw them was probably the most fun i've had at a live show ever. i am excite.

SOOOOOOOOOOOO.....laptop crisis averted. I'm safely voyaging away from pedals, again.

It wasn't the audio interface, afterall. It was just the settings in the Guitar Rig software. It was running everything through its default bass rig....which is modeled after an SVT....and Ampeg is the shittyest motherfucking tone sucking amps on the face of the planet. I hate the Ampeg sound. I want to punch people in the motherfucking face when they look at my rig and say something like, "bet you wish you had an ampeg". Fuck you. Bitches. I don't need some muddy tone fucker sucking my sound up.





I'm sorry. I'm under control, again. Yes, Mudd, wallet, I'll post my thoughts. I used to have this velcro VW wallet that I LOOOOVED but my wife got me some leather old man wallet to make me look older....and I've had that fat thing for years. Ready to get back to a slimmer fit that I can actually keep in my ass pocket and not make me feel like I'm getting probed.

And bags. My Status came with a hard case....Hiscox....thing is a fucking beast. The guy that was endorsed by Status was proving to me how awesome these cases are so he got on top of a ladder and dropped his on it's head. Probably a $4,000 bass he had. Totally solid. I do wish I had something that could strap on my back, sometimes.....but this thing is the strongest case I've ever seen. Gotta stick with it.

Ampeg PR410HLF. This thing is an absolute overbuilt beast. Solid as a mother, and loud as hell too. I'm loving it so far. For a 410 it moves some serious air.

Not mine, but mines exactly like it except not as beat up. I'm going to take the circle ampeg logo off asap though. Looks like shit to have an all black cab with a gaudy chrome badge on there. I might look for and square ampeg logo to replace it with.
