about the same as the vibrato, tiny bit more? based on work, parts and "market" , $250-ish tops. that would be the 2nd revision, with the extra features.

Re: Sonic Crayon GAS!
today, august 26th 2012, I have finally fixed the last mysterious issue on the motherfucking hollow earth. time to get some PCBs made. my "test" hollow earth looks like shit, with wires and crap hanging out of it from all the hacks and fixes. and there are at least 4 "worse" pcbs in a box somewhere. but at last, this one now works as intended.
thanks. it was quite the surprise!

Re: Sonic Crayon GAS!
this pedal has sort of become a joke on forums. vapourware, but it does exist! ask scott/mtl assembly, he saw the new one. :P I only ever sold 31 of the first hollow earth. they're out there, somewhere. only had to repair one, and it was dead-on-arrival (post's fault).
it's actually pretty simple to assemble, compared to some of my other pedals! 4 encoders, one display, three vactrols, relative medium part count, little wiring to do. the hard work was in code, and the final DC-offset issue that plagued many amps except mine (meaning I couldn't easily test it untill recently).
so yeah, this is actually an easier build than my vibrato, which I've built 15 of this year, and anti nautilus. so once I've actually confirmed that this works, and once I've done a demo/tutorial video, I can push quite a lot of these out!
this is an old video, but entirely relevant:

also, I love these 1/8 watt resistors! I don't much like SMD passives, and these are just small enough to not really be a space issue.
