I still have my collection of Nintendo Power, starting with the first issue and ending around the time of Donkey Kong Country for SNES... that may not seem like a lot of time, but that's like 80 issues, I think.

The PS3 plays DVDs as well as Blu Ray, right? So it must upscale the DVDs or something? I have a 720p 32" LG TV, so the 1080p thing doesn't matter to me too much. And I've read that most PS3 games are 720p native resolution?

It upscales DVDs, and there's very few PS3 games worth playing that are higher than 720p.

Thanks dude. Yeah, I just tossed my Sony Surround Sound thing because CDs don't sound so good through it, and I'm going to get a dedicated Denon shelf system for CDs, 'cuz I love them.

So I figured I'd get a PS3 for the DVD/BluRay (though I'm not all that into BluRay), and figured I could play a few games while I'm at it, 'cuz I love them.

The Uncharteds, Red Dead Redemption, GTA V, RE 5 & 6, Shawdow Of The Colossus, Dead Space, Heavy Rain, Portal 2, and the old standbys Mega Man 9 & 10, etc.

As someone who has sunk 3300+ hours into GW1 and can't buy GW2 until Tuesday, when I can buy the install disk at the official launch. Auslandian internets is terrible and can't download the 16-25g file without causing an apocalyptic internet allowance breakdown. Fuck anyone that's playing.

Made a great run to division 1 but now I've been stuck in 3 for quite some time. Who's your favorite squad?

I just made it to League 1 with Belgium in 3 days (even with my shitty connection) from League 4

It did disconnected 4-5 times while in good winning positions though which sucks but I still managed it...

I get it at least once per season. I really want an Xbox I think

Also I came back from a 3-0 down to win 6-4 last night in the semi final of the cup so I'm fucking stoked that I get to try win that today

Damn dude! Sounds like you'd be a bit better than I. Currently in Div 2 after destroying a few challengers (I had three games to get six points, did it in two) with Napoli, their attacking prowess is almost unmatched but their midfield and defense could use some work. If you ever do get an Xbox, we will have to play for sure. I'm excited to be excited to be Liverpool again for FIFA13 with their new additions (Joe Allen and Nuri Sahin). Although controversy seems to follow him, Luis Suarez is my boy and even after the whole "hand of the devil" controversy (but the alleged racism is just not cool at all, hopefully he can just start to shut up and play).

On the bright side though, you haven't really missed a ton. Friday was laggy as shit. If you went into a town there was a very good chance you'd never be able to leave because of network errors every time you tried to go through the portals. lulz. The party system is still messed up, sometimes it'll show your friends as "offline" when you're talking to them, and things like the gem store are too lagged out to properly work.
The servers are gonna get smashed on Tuesday, I think. I'm really looking forward to errthang running more smoothly, but it's still really cool to finally have GW2.

...I wish Necros were more fun. Loved it in GW, but Engineer has my heart this time around.
