I have a GGG Rams and it rules so friggen much.
Of course it has a very specific sound and I didn't read enough of this thread to know what sounds you are going for.

Yeah where's the friggin' Op-Amp choice? Is that "Late 70s"?

I have an original V5 in near mint condition and it is THE fuzz sound I want. Love it. Has nothing to do with Smashing Pumpkins, either. Fuck that noise.

I assume he didn't include the op-amp option because GGG doesn't offer that option.

Correct.

Despite a landslide victory for the Greenie, I'm gonna buil the GGG tuned one. I emailed JD Sleep asking what the difference was between the Green and GGG, and he said that the GGG is more overdrive and the Green is more fuzz. So, I'm thinking I'll get more grind/clarity going that route. I appreciate everyone's input, though.

I like the one with tone-bypass... that was the 70's one?
As long as it makes noise, then it's a good Big Muff.

Whoa. I just finally listened to that clip, and the Ram's Head sounds super crunchy (comparatively speaking). Sounds awesome! What was the first muff?

This may sound weird... but I don't like Muff.
They sound like distortion to my ear.
