Lunar Echo vs. Alien Echo

Post by NihilistNixon »

I have decided to start on my dream pedalboard but have come to a dilemma about which delay pedal to get that will be my one and only. I have fallen in love with both the DMB Lunar Echo and the J. Rockett Alien Echo, but having both would be retarded overkill. So which special fx delay pedal seems like it would be the best all around to own?

How "eerie" can it get compared to the Lunar and Alien?

Lunar Echo have an fx loop so go with that... more possibilities.

If you get an older model Lunar Echo it might not have the FX loop, though DMB will add it for $20. If you like your delay to go even a little crazy on the modulation you need to get the Lunar Echo.

I have been tempted to try the ELECTROMAN. I have to say, though, that the DMB just sounds so RIGHT. It sits so nicely in a mix, I want to put it on everything. And it can definitely go from subtle to all-out insane with the modulation and other options.

Awesome. So seems like for creepy overall fun its the Lunar Echo. I'm halfway there, so it shouldnt be TOO long until I have one. Thank ya kindly folks.

I would say the Alien Echo. I'm pretty sure the amount of modulation is determined by it's input and your dynamics. Which is crazy awesome
