woohoo! just got a couple songs mixed as well as we could do. Derelict was being the MAN and taking a wack at them, doing WAY better than i can, but shit got all busy and caught up so we just slopped them together as a holdover till we get in the studio.
first show together is this Friday, a rock club bar with some bands we might actually fit with. 'm super happy to be playing on a Friday instead of a Tuesday or Thursday for our first gig.

Week 25, day four. Second straight night in the hospital. The first attempts to reduce the amount of contractions were unsuccessful. About 10 hours ago, they started her on a Magnesium Sulfate drip. This is "the big guns". They can keep her on it for 48 to 72 hours. It hasn't reduced the contractions, yet. We're stil in Lake Charles. Haven't made it to our specialist in Houston. They're thinking they won't want to move her tomorrow. If the drip works, we could go on about our business and hopefully make it another 6 weeks or so. If it doesn't work.....I dunno. The staff is nice and all. And they say the right things. There's an underlying pessimistic feel to everything.

Oh shit, man! Don't let it drag you down just yet. Be strong, make your wife strong. I am thinking of you. If I were more american I'd say something like I send my prayers or so. But I'll do whatever equivalent there is when you don't pray.
