Can't wait to get my Traynors back from JC Traded for the top one and it smoked (literally) when I got it, so I took em both in to the man to get sorted.
The chicken knob YBA-1 had been converted almost completely to a JTM45 -- JC cleaned up the poorly done mods. The other one had suffered a power tube melt-down, and got a variable bias circuit and new tubes ... 99% bone stock !
Good deals done with all these guys Canada, we put the "u" in satire
Jeff-7 wrote:Wait, you got an AC30HW2 for a grand? That's a hell of a deal. You know about the McAllister fix for them right? I'd be surprised if they DC them unless they plan on coming out with another version using the EF86 again, this series has been a pretty big success.
nah just for an ac15 hw which is still a bargain since mine is a new one im guessing it already has the mcallister fix by vox never heard of it but thanks for the heads up!
Yeah it should, mine came new from the factory with it so you should be fine. You'd notice pretty quick if it had been done or not once you changed the tubes haha.
Good deals with: Officer Bukowski, Caesar, BriBri, Amorphous, ThePastRecedes

I still have some funds left and luckily I ordered Ableton Live before this whole ordeal started... not sure whether I'll get a Pocket Piano + a Machine Mikro or just a Maschine (full). There's always that Launchpad...
I'm not necessarily advising you to pirate Arturia Minimoog and Native Instruments Massive but . . .
Never seen any threads on here about them so I thought I'd break it down:
Single P90 in the neck, a Piezo in the bridge, two volume controls and one master volume to control both pickups. Pretty damn straight forward, beautiful neck feels somewhere between a Larrivee-style and a chunkier more traditional style one. 25 1/4" scale, 14" radius, mahogany neck, maple biscuit (?? dunno wtf it is but it's a wicked name lol) bridge... it's just a wonderful guitar and goes down a treat with the stuff I play. It's not really setup like a true slide guitar so you've still got that awesome low-action but as you can see in the demo vid from MusikMesse but still doesn't mean you can't get amazing sounds playing slide on it:
I can't wait to put it through it's paces and try it out with some dirt

Well, not quite yet for me, but it's "in the mail" so to speak
I hope you're enjoying the Frostwave mate! Definitely a ridiculously good sounding piece of kit

YES. I was looking at that last week. Really REALLY interesting stuff. I've often thought myself of making a GIANT multieffects that was patchable and modular like that. So good
